Félicien Gautreau of Gautreau Village died Wednesday morning at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital fullowing a brief illness. He was 100 years of age.
Born at Gautreau Village, he was a son of the late Abram and Syhie (Gauvin) Gautreau.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The body is resting at Dupuis funerai home, Memrameook. Funeral will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'En-Haut. The body will be placed in the St Thomas Church parish vault here for interment in the spring at Pré-d'en-Haut. Mr. Gautreau was the oldest resident in the Memramrook Valley area.
